WorkshopS
In collaboration with different youth groups and schools, I organise workshops to help change the perception of violence and male chauvinism in children and teenagers.
Due to the emotional load this talks create, we channel the energy into creative designs to paint murals.
We begin the first session with a series of games that help us access the collective imaginary about who are the victims of violence.
These ideas are then contrasted with actual information, and after some discussion, we start working on a concept and a draft.
The whole group take part in the design of the mural, discussing its different elements, under my guidance, until we have a coherent concept.
The last step in the workshop is to actually paint the mural. I give them tips and help them create the collective piece.
